This Privacy Notice explains how Meow (“Meow”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you access or use our website and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Information We Collect

The Service is designed for wallet based use. We do not collect, store, or request your private keys, seed phrase, or wallet recovery phrase. Transactions are initiated by you and signed through your wallet provider.

The information we collect generally falls into the following categories:

Wallet and account data. When you connect a wallet or use wallet-gated features, we may collect your public wallet address and associate it with actions performed within the Service, such as creating tokens, interacting with pools, and using creator related features. We may also store “registered wallets” where applicable for product functionality and abuse prevention.

Trading and creator fee data. The Service may process and display information related to trades, token activity, pool activity, and creator fees. Some of this information is derived from public blockchain data and may also be stored in our systems to provide features such as token pages, dashboards, activity feeds, and creator fee tooling.

Analytics and usage data. We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the Service and to improve performance and reliability. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, time spent, device and browser information, and general location derived from IP address. We use this information in aggregated form to monitor usage patterns and improve the Service.

Technical and log data. When you access the Service, our hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard server data, which can include IP address, request metadata, timestamps, error logs, and security related events. This data is used to operate the Service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.

Support communications. If you contact us, we will receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and the content of your message.

Public Blockchain Data

Blockchains are public. Wallet addresses, token balances, transfers, and transaction history may be publicly visible on chain and accessible to anyone. We do not control public blockchain networks and cannot delete, modify, or restrict access to on-chain data.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate, maintain, and improve the Service, including to provide wallet based features, display token and pool activity, support creator-fee functionality, monitor performance, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.

Legal Bases for Processing (UK GDPR)

Where UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on one or more of the following bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request), legitimate interests (for security, fraud prevention, and improving the Service), and compliance with legal obligations. Where required, we will rely on consent for specific processing activities such as certain analytics or cookie-based technologies.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in limited circumstances, including with service providers who help us operate the Service and where required for legal or security reasons.

Service providers. We use Vercel for hosting and delivery, Supabase for database and related infrastructure, and Google Analytics for usage analytics. These providers may process certain information on our behalf to provide their services.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, protect the security or integrity of the Service, or protect our users and rights.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Cookies and Google Analytics

Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to collect usage and device information. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Service may not function as intended.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to operate the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Public blockchain data remains available on chain. Server logs and security records are retained for a limited period consistent with operational and security needs.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Transfers

Our providers may process information in locations outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps intended to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with applicable data protection laws.

Your Rights (UK)

If you are in the United Kingdom, you may have rights under UK GDPR, including the right to request access to your personal data, request correction, request deletion, object to processing, and request restriction of processing in certain circumstances. Some data cannot be deleted where it is public blockchain data or where retention is required for legal or security reasons.

To exercise your rights, contact us at support@meow.ag. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Children

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address the issue.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in the Service, legal requirements, or our practices. We will post the updated version on this page and update the “Last Updated” date.
